ABOUT

Sarah Weatherall Goldsmith and fine Jewellery maker from Uckfield East Sussex

The day after my 18th birthday I took my first steps into the jewellery trade with a company called Symbol wholesale jewellers in Sevenoaks, and from there I moved on to study jewellery design and manufacturing at Sir John Cass London Metropolitan University. After returning to the trade environment of Symbol and the sister company Scarab in Sevenoaks for a short while, my skills were recognised by the well renowned master craftsman Chris Thurlwell, who offered me the chance to study and learn on a one to one basis at his specialist jewellers Thurwells in Tunbridge Wells.

I expanded on my craft and skill set there for 12 years, designing and producing the most exquisite hand crafted bespoke pieces for his loyal client base.

Now I work from my own studio workshop in East Sussex designing and producing individual one off commissions along with my own jewellery ranges which I add to regularly.

I am a member of the Guild of Master Craftsmen and the Guild of Jewellery Designers.

Do please sign up for my newsletter and follow me on social media.

I specialise in making one off pieces, I work in silver, gold, platinum, precious gem stones and on occasion other mediums.

I also specialise in remodelling existing jewellery using what you have, bringing it up to date, re designing to combine & use broken or forgotten gold and gem-set items to make special pieces to love and cherish once more and for generations to come.

I am lucky enough through my training and skill set to be able to enjoy applying many different design and manufacturing techniques to my work, both modern and ancient, making a diverse range of jewellery to suit each individual.

I draw my inspiration from the people I make and design for and the world around me.

From individual one off commissions to affordable collection pieces from my online or in studio shop (by appointment) or personalised gift ideas I work closely with my customers to produce very special individual and tailored jewellery.

A small selection of my work can be seen on this site, you can view specific items by browsing through the pages to get ideas, then all you need to do is get in touch.

I am happy to discuss your requirements so please don't hesitate to contact me and arrange a meeting.
