Mid last year I recieved an email wishing to start the process of designing and making a bespoke engagement ring.
We have probably sent about 100 plus emails since.
Its so important a part to get a picture in your mind of just who you are designing for.
I love learning about people, their lives together, hobbies, jobs, when she planned to pop the question and where.
Its very much integral to my design process and however far away you are from me we still choose designs and stones together and work towards the perfect end result as if you are in my studio with me.
I began the design process with the brief in mind and sourced stones to reflect the vision.
We moved from stone to stone settling on this incredible hexagonal Salt and Pepper Diamond, with its longer facets which send occasional beams of light as it glints away from certain angles.
Down to carefully chosen packaging, a box for the proposal in Iceland and one for pride of place in their new tatoo studio.
All hand carved in 18ct white gold.
