Emerald Rings

Writer's picture: Sarah WeatherallSarah Weatherall

These are the words from the customer, who better to explain the commission.

“It’s been 4 years since I lost my mum, I now felt ready to be able to use her jewellery and that of my grandparents to make a piece of memorial jewellery, that I could wear and feel connected to them every day. The lovely Sarah Weatherall worked with my sister and I, to produce two gorgeous matching rings.”

We started by taking their mums 22ct wedding band and dividing it exactly in half and each sister then added gold until we got enough to have two rings cast.

Here the initial wax carving, the gold and model is then sent off to have a mould made and then cast using the customers sentimental gold.

The sisters picked such gorgeous Emeralds we flanked them simply with diamonds 💚, here are the finished rings 💚
