Memorial Bangles part 2

For the third commissioned memorial bangle it was important to think about hobbies both step father and son shared and the customer mentioned motorbikes and helmets, a shape which would perfectly hold ashes and sit beautifully on the wrist.

After sketching out my idea and it was agreed I set about carving wax to make a mould in Sterling Silver.

Once finished they were sent off to be cast.

These then have to be soldered to a Silver plate and then attached to the main Torque bangle frame.

We chose quite a chunky bangle to suit the Gent and here are the results.

Tricky to photograph this one.

To match the ladies bangles I kept the theme of the addition of 9ct Rose gold to finish the bangle ends and set the Diamonds in a rub over 9ct Rose Gold setting.

Once more beautifully engraved and Hallmarked by The London Assay Office also sporting The Queens Jubilee Mark.

Like the other two memorial bangles these are quite sturdy so they can endure lots of wear as I was told they didn't really want to take them off too often 💙
