Remodelling Unworn Jewellery

The first picture is of the jewellery brought to me, some sentimental gold including wedding bands, engagement rings with some unworn and broken pieces.

It was important to use the gold and diamonds together.

I smelted the gold down to form a beautifully richly coloured ingot, the London Assay Office confirmed the gold content was at 565 parts out of 1000 gold the rest alloy.

In the UK higher grade gold is marked down to 9ct as the next hallmark up is 14 at 585 parts but I have the readout to offer to the customer to show the mix is in fact higher.

These were amoung some of the first pieces made to feature the Kings Coronation Assay Mark.

I like to pierce out the back holes to show it is handmade and well made.

Lastly the customers diamonds are flush set to finish these beautiful rings for mother and daughter to wear and enjoy knowing they contain family gold and diamonds from generations passed to be remembered and cherished. 💫
