Tableware to Fingers Fair!

A worn out ring needed to be remade after 20 years of service and a matching version was also requested, a thoughtful gift for his partner utilising the family Silver.

I took said fine tableware and melted some Silver down into an ingot to form into a pair of Sandwich rings.

Each consisting of 3 bands with the central section to be planished.

The resulting bands looking quite far removed from their former life but with the sentimental metal kept and repurposed to keep close at hand at all times.

A lovely way of repurposing what you have.

Another ring soon followed using the metal to house a carefully selected present... 🎁
