Treasured Rings Transformed

This was an exiting brief for me.

Something I love to do is to transform inherited jewellery, to reimagine, to show what it could be turned into, how it can be enhanced and brought into a new era to be worn and enjoyed to its full potential for generations to come.

I like to nod to the past but bring it into the future with a new creation echoing the wearers style aesthetic.

Indian gold is usually of a high carat and is utterly gorgeous in colour mixing with a high carat Victorian ring to give us this rich luscious gold look.

The Rubies and Diamonds were to be repurposed into the new piece.

With an odd number of stones I decided to do something a little bit different at the back of the ring.

The nod from me was to the shapes often seen in Indian styles and architecture, the lady liked Victorian and cluster rings in particular so we came to this design to utilise the gold and beautiful rocks.

We both love the result. ♥️
