Combining loved family pieces

Writer: Sarah WeatherallSarah Weatherall

The brief was to keep elements of mum and dads rings but to utilise the metal of these and the customers existing jewels and palladium rings to make something everyday wearable to have both with her at all times.

Taking the star sections of mums ring and the buckle of dads with her very clever teardrop suggestion we simply added painstakingly melted down elements of what was left and engineered them into soldered links adding chain and of course a spacer jump ring for the added benefit of being able to wear the neckpiece at different lengths to suit all outfits.

A very pretty resulting neckpiece and bracelet.
